Dear Partner in Life and Hope,
We give thanks for your support and prayers, never more so than now during this time of crisis and unknown challenges. God warns us to expect adversity as we follow Him, but we have His words for assurance.
“Count it all Joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effort, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4
Our mission has always been to care for those experiencing an unexpected pregnancy with the Gospel and life affirming options and support. This will continue during this time of unprecedented circumstances. We are closely monitoring daily updates and taking precautions to ensure the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff.
As of today, our offices remain open and our volunteers and staff are caring for clients, but in some different creative ways. We are looking for new opportunities to stay Missional in using for good what the enemy means for evil. The abortion industry is quickly taking advantage of women who are already in a state of fear and anxiety, and we will STAND FIRM to be here, offering real help, and sharing the hope found only in the Gospel.
Just this week, in the face of quickly changing circumstances, we were able to see 12 clients, and provide a safe place to speak truth in the midst of confusion, give compassionate, caring counseling and offer the peace and hope of God’s perfect plan for their lives. We have created a way to use technology to do real-time, face-to-face online counseling immediately while clients wait for an appointment.
We have also moved our Volunteer Training to this platform, and next week we will be offering some of our LifeSense education classes online. This is of particular importance as a way to care for our soon-to-deliver clients with classes on Labor, Breastfeeding, and How to Afford a Baby. We are ramping up our availability to provide clients with infant supplies such as diapers, wipes and formula.
The clients, volunteers, and staff of the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry are so grateful for your prayers and support. We take heart in 2 Corinthians 1:10-11: “He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.“
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
